As an esteemed Hazel Dixon Professional Nail Systems Distributor, Carrie is a highly accomplished and well-respected Akzentz A.C.E. educator based in New Bern, North Carolina. With over a decade of experience as a certified dental assistant, Carrie discovered her true passion for nails during a routine gel manicure appointment, recognizing the similarities between the process and tooth-colored composite fillings. She subsequently pursued her dream of becoming a nail technician and specialized in hard gel, graduating from nail school at the age of 45 and continuing her professional development through various courses, trade shows, and competitions.

Carrie’s dedication to her craft and commitment to excellence have earned her numerous accolades, including a second-place finish in gel manicure at Nailympia in Orlando, Florida. She is renowned for her expertise in form and structure, emphasizing the importance of each step in achieving exceptional results.

Her lifetime love of her heritage from England she discovered a nail brand that embodied her pursuit of excellence and quality nail products and as a company that has won countless awards in the U.K., Hazel Dixon Professional Nail Systems. After importing products for use in her salon and falling in love with the quality, she was asked to become a brand ambassador by the owner Hazel Dixon and quickly decided that she needed to introduce the line to the United States as one of two HD Distributors. Carrie takes pride in being able to offer a full range of HD products and looks forward to educating U.S. nail techs in this amazing line of professional-only nail products.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Carrie is a devoted wife of 33 years to her husband Jeff, and a proud mother of two adult children and two beautiful granddaughters. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for nails as an educator and session artist and loves to travel the world to learn new techniques and design nails for fashion shoots. With her unwavering commitment to excellence and her dedication to her students and nail community, Carrie will conquer any challenge placed in her path.
