When the opportunity presented itself to Sam and Christi to become the new stewards of Halo Salon, the two seasoned business owners jumped at the chance. No strangers to being involved in a family business, the couple hit the ground running in the Fall when they officially took over.

Sam and Christi together have over 20 years of experience in the real estate world, helping people achieve the dream of homeownership, while cultivating lasting relationships. Their moral compass guides them each day, and they thrive on the fact that they’re in the business of caring for people. In the real estate world, Christi has a well-known slogan, that being that “Everyone deserves a home.” Having had an extensive career in the beauty industry already, she’s brandished a new motto specific to their latest venture with Halo, “Everyone deserves to feel beautiful.” Making someone smile is Christi’s goal every day. She loves to see others happy and continually strives to achieve this in all she does.

Having grown up in his family’s restaurant, Sam was thrust into customer service at a young age and followed closely in the footsteps of his father, developing a keen attention to detail and strong work ethic. With his father being a constant source of inspiration and pride for Sam, he has gone on to successfully start, manage, and sell numerous small businesses of his own. His bride Christi isn’t new to being an owner/manager either. All while pursuing her love of makeup and aesthetics full time, Christi also helped start and run a variety of small businesses, including a landscaping and property management company, followed by two different real estate firms. An active member of her church and the New Bern community at large, Christi loves to give back to others and to the town that welcomed her and her family with open arms.

A Mom and Dad of three, an aunt and uncle to many, and the proud grandparents of four, Sam & Chrissy place family above all else. They will continuously name them all as their greatest loves and the pride of their lives. They cherish the moments with those whom they treasure most and are always adding others to their ever-growing family. They are passionate college football fans and enjoy having everyone together at their home. While Sam sings classic rock in the kitchen preparing his authentic, delicious Greek meals, Christi is busy making sure everyone is feeling loved, welcomed, and having a good time.
